Touring and Sightseeing
Glasha is the ideal base to tour the South East of Ireland. For the history lovers there are castles at Lismore, Kilkenny, Cashel and Cahir. The famous Swiss Cottage in Cahir and the Round Tower in Ardmore are also well worth a visit. Glasha is 15 minutes' drive from Clonmel - the largest inland town in Munster. The town is a garrison town, complete with the historical Main Guard and the West Gate, still in existence. These structures form part of the old town walls. For the geographical sights - there are the Mitchelstown Caves, Mahon Falls, the Coumshingaun Lakes, one of Ireland’s best examples of a corrie lake.

Fishing

In the Nire river which runs adjacent to the farmhouse.The Nire is a tributary of the famous River Suir. Trout fishing is the main form of angling on the Nire. Fishing permits are available locally.
Irish Music
Interested in Irish music and Culture? then a visit to the Bru Boru Cultural Centre is a must. It is only a short trip from Glasha.
